No, faster naval main attack does not refer to transports. If you open the world map and open the units tab and click naval, you can see Naval: Main attack are destroyers. Transports are "Naval: transport" Unless the upgrade says "Naval transport" or "transports" as a general statement it doesn't buff transports. Faster naval main attack only applies to units that are categorized as "Naval: main attack", which in terms of the world map are destroyers

Thank you. Question? If you had 21000 in sp, what upgrade would you suggest?

Depends on what you play. If you want to play competitive (3v3), you need the most meta upgrades there are; Most of the general ones are necessary to play competitive, for example.

no. the first upgrades you should get are all the infantry upgrades, then go get the general range upgrades.

Honestly, for me when I made this account the first upgrades I saved up for were the infantry upgrades. Faster Infantry and Expendable infantry were the first I went after, they allow you to play strats like Iron Fist and Perfect Defense a lot more efficiently by giving even more positives to the buffs you already receive from the strats, Then I went for the more important general upgrades and lesser upgrades that are also nice to have but aren't the immediate necessity, like extra crit for ground main attack and extra crit for infantry. But really whichever you choose depends on what type of maps you enjoy. If you're a devout competitive player you definitely want the infantry upgrades, if not, you don't HAVE to prioritize them, though I personally suggest you do.

I am r7 now, simply by playing what I like, didn't worry too much about SP. Also, skill is a great factor of course, not everything revolves around upgrades. So if you are good, you will manage to rank up faster than you think Just play the game the way you like

Infantry upgrades are obviously invaluable, unless you use GW all the time. However, because they cost so much SP, I did not prioritize them. I bought cheaper upgrades and learned how to put those upgrades to my advantage. Particularly since I am a huge fan of MoS and NC, I prioritized the naval and stealth upgrades, almost all of which are cheaper than fast and cheap infantry. After I gained experience (around the time I reached r8) I paid the $5 USD to get the 490 protocoins to reset my upgrades, swapping some that I did not find to be as useful to ones that I wanted but didn't have (like fast Infantry, cheap transports, and the second air transport capacity increase). I'm currently saving up for cheap infantry. I've never had that upgrade because it's so expensive. Knowing what I know now, I would prioritize the upgrades that are guaranteed, like range, cost, capacity, and hit point upgrades. The lucky upgrades are not slam-dunks. You can still have bad rolls and lose a critical battle multiple times throughout a game. They just increase the odds (and they do make a difference!). By contrast, the range, cost, capacity, and hit point upgrades are the same and predictable every time. No matter the cost of infantry in a given map, or with a given strat, your infantry will cost 10 less. No matter how fast the Naval Main Attack unit is on a map, or due to a strat (like MoS takes -1 off of Destroyer range), your Destroyer will always be able to move +1 more than if you didn't have the upgrade.
