Instead of using the gl chat or the forums to advertise, since many people ignore them or just don't see them, there should be an advertising section in which you can use whatever amount of SP to put your ad on a space that can be on every page of this website for 24 hours, but your views and clicks can vary depending on how much SP you bid in for the ad, and how well made the ad is. Within this time, if there were more than one ads within that ad space, they would share the space, but as I said above, some ads may be seen more than others depending on how much SP is bidded into the ad. Once the 24 hour time slot ends, your ad no longer appears on the space. I believe that this is a good idea because some AW players either never go on the forum, or just don't go on the Coalition/Scenario Forums specifically as well as the gl chat disappearing after a while, making recruitment a short, temporary thing. (Unless you spammed, which is against the rules). Thoughts? I love criticism

http://afterwind.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=3487&board_page=2 I love all of you, but you all need to seriously pay attention to my posts sometimes. 50% of them people repost, and then the mods have to go through shit and lock reposts.

But this is different, since people will upload image files for the advertisement, and this isn't JUST for scenarios. It could be for coalitions too, mainly. But, this could even go just to a profile to get publicity. Possibilities are wider than you think.

"Bronies" can go to fuck. So can off-topic chat when it's not in off-topic. Anyway, bad idea, see Gardevoir's thread. Barrymore did propose a "new scenarios" section for scenarios though, showing the newest scenarios of the week or something like that, kind of like the Newgrounds Flash Portal. And anyway Gardevoir, more people commented on your topic with genuine feedback on the idea than this one, so I'd give up your notions about "quitting" on these grounds. The idea is still quite bad IMO, but I think something unbiased and not paid for like what Barrymore proposed wouldn't be a bad idea.

You do know afterwind has a specific board for recruiting? right? http://afterwind.com/forum/board.php?board_id=50 also, if you are a leader or officer that means you have premium, which also means you can post a advertisement on global, as long as you don't spam it, maybe one every few hours.

If you read the first paragraph, I talked about why this isn't that useful.

If people are actively searching for a coalition, they will find one, what you are doing is poaching for coalition members, just say what is good about yours, prove it is a good coalition to join in battle and people will happily join you. i am not against advertisements for coalitions as long as 1. they can be turned off 2. they don't show up if you are in a cln.

What a nice way to completely copy ROBLOX and their advertising.
