I'd say Portugal should be a go. Lisbon is very trendy and one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world, and Azores and Madeira should be an option too, Azores is nominated for best european destination for this year, and Madeira won the World Travel Awards (pretty much like Oscars for Tourism) for the best island (destination) in the whole world.

Porto wine isn't the best, Madeira wine is the best!

these are countries i actually spent some time in, ive traveled through serbia, slovenia etc but i dont count them as i just moved through to visit better lands XD

lol well i visit every year, its kind of nice.Romania recently ditched communism and is experiencing growth and modernization. Investment projects worth millions, city flooded with malls,good cars and clubs and pools and etc Capitalism at work.

It's still the 2nd poorest country in EU, being the 1st Moldova (ethnic Romanians too), personally I don't like Romanian people, but I've heard the country's beautyful, but then again, from all the Romanians I've met that emigrated to my country, I've only been friends with 1, and hated by 4 other for patriotic remarks
