Hello AtWar people,
Once again, we have survived another year. I didn't think AtWar would last another year, but here we are. Since I've been back, I've felt like the game is getting emptier and emptier to the point where the only person I duel most of the time is Dominicano. I miss those days when you could get more than 5 different people to duel a day.
I think if the end times came, I'd like AW staff to be more flexible with banned players, especially in difficult times like this. In other games like osu!, there are cooldowns for restrictions, which are counted in months and it's been years from the rebels incident. It's true that if one commits a crime, they deserve punishment, but they also deserve the chance to reintegrate into society. Please consider giving them a chance, especially my friend Lion Sin Escanor.

The one that happened in November 2021. The thread was "I give you the opportunity to express your own will" or something like that, I just don't want it to end like that way.

We need to get a large youtuber to advertise the game

Besides the fact that this is beating a dead horse, dave should still consider it as their is an obvious consensus towards banned players from the community (that some deserve to be unbanned)

If they fix that lame bug i have had for almost 3 weeks (servers restting while i am making moves ans shit like that) i might duel you on any non eu 10k preset xa.

Honestly I'm not sure there really is that many players who are still banned or can't get unbanned besides Lion and xBugs it's more that people just aren't willing to come back anymore. There's many reasons why but my comment would probably get deleted by certain staff members so there's no point in saying much more than this though I doubt it's fixable at this state anyway. Everybody has known for a decade or more what needed to be done to further grow and keep the game alive which was the game needed to be a more complete state and added to Steam or Epic games. I'm not sure this game is making a profit or enough to even pay for the servers so you have to appreciate that Dave is keeping it alive likely via his own wallet.

The point is not to revive the game, but before game dies, to enjoy it with the people who make the game worthwhile.

I'll respond to ensure that it doesn't appear like the staff is overlooking this topic, especially since it has garnered considerable support and interest. Personally, I agree with 90% of what Trystane said - he captured the situation accurately (It seems that his experience impersonating Safari has given him a keen understanding of this community ).

As my bro Panda pointed out, most of the banned players don't actually want to actively play the game - except for a couple (I would even go as far to say two). To prove this opinion, after we provided the appeal form https://sr.atwar-game.com/contact/final-appeal.php, only a few of them made the effort to fill it out. Instead, some prefer to create alt accounts occasionally (when they are bored, waiting for connecting flights or similiar) to spam the forums with their opinions and grievances. Yet, when they're given the appeal link, they choose not to fill the form, while telling others that they did and were ignored.

The game primarily needs a visual update and a revamp of the map editor (fixing Clovis's code is probably impossible ). Most of the ingame bugs have already been resolved. After that, as Trystane suggested, the game should be adapted for platform like Steam or Epic Games, followed by advertising. I still believe this game has potential; it is better than most of the similar browser games that have hundreds or even thousands of times larger player bases.

Well, at least on At War you have to pay only one time for the premium features while games like Conflict of nations or Supremacy 1914 are all pay per win games.
