How did you become a Brony?

I became a brony 11 months ago. At first I hated the idea. The idea of a 20 year old man enjoing a tv show on magical talking ponies for little girls. I insulted them with childish terms. I hated hated hated hated hated hated hated BRONIES!!!!!!!!!!!! Until I got in a chat box with one them, and got convince to watch a few episodes. I don't know, how it came to be. But I loved the show!!!!!!! Today I defend this amazing fandom. The fandom here is a lot nicer compared to other fandoms I joined before. Last of all Rarity is my favorite pony and brohoof to all fellow bronies. To all haters watch at least 1 episode. You might even like it, you never know until you give it a try.



Heres my reaction to becoming a brony. I was in self-denial when I became a brony.

I was doing some research on Jihadist movement in Mali or was it on the Syrian civil war. I can't recall but at same time I was listening to north Korean music. I found a "soviet pony march" video. So I check the video out, thought it was cool. Kept on clicking pony related videos. Heard the word brony within the comments. Did some more digging on info on bronies. At first I thought a grown man love a girly tv show was crazy. Until on that day watched the first 2 episodes. I then watched 3 more for storyline purposes. Around the 5th or 6th episodes of season 1. I realized I love this show. So kept watching the rest of season until 2 am in the morning. That was a mental blast compared to the stuff I was reading on hours ago (Mass Graves in Africa, Child Soldiers in Philippines, Human Tariffing in eastern Europe, Drug Lords in Laos, Iran preparing for war, and etc worldwide). MLP is most happiest thing I've seen in long time, compared to the world a true hell hole. I love how kind people are in this fandom. I wish the world could have kinder people, instead of this hatred.

I became a brony threw my friend annoying the hell out me with MLP. So gave a try to the show. Like OMG OMG OMG that was best show I have every seen in my life. I stayed for mostly the cool music. "Brohoof"
