New York City Map Review

Presets

In addition to the whole map, there are 8 different presets

1) Manhattan




2) Brooklyn




3) Queens




4) The Bronx




5) Staten Island




6) New Jersey





7) Two Rivers: Hudson and East rivers surrounding Manhattan and the areas around them (recommended for quick games, as the map is small but still needs about 10 people)




8) The 5 Boroughs (no New Jersey)

Income

Below is map for the income of all countries:
Red: Very High Income (+650)
Yellow: High Income (450-650)
Green: Okay Income (250-450)
Grey: Poor Income (<250)

Notice that Manhattan will obviously have the most income ... but its also in the middle and will always be the center of attention

Units

Defense:
New Yorkers and New Jerseyite are the basic defense units for New York and New Jersey respectively
Infantries are the main defense units
NYPD and NJ state troopers are the advanced defense units for New York and New Jersey respectively

Attack:
Bradly is the basic main attack unit
Abrams is the advanced attack unit
Criminals: Stealth unit

Ground Transport:
NYPD SUV: transport for NYPD




MTA bus is a specific transport for basic defense units (New Yorkers and New Jerseyites). They can carry a lot of units and go far






Air units are classic in addition to one advanced unit (B-52) that is quite expensive

Please note that this is the first version of an original map that I started from scratch .. so bear with me for any bugs regarding units, countries, borders, income etc ... I would appreciate any feedback you give or any bugs u note .. I will gladly patch them

Once the map is stable enough .. I have more plans for scenarios .. stay tuned

Hope you didn't pay for this mask.... Great map very interesting especially for those who have visited or live in it...sadly I haven't but still made actually realize it's huge dimensions

Quite an interesting maps, I've seen a lot of city based maps but this one looks quite unique. Hope to give it a try sometime

xD they give me masks at work .. but its not disposable .. so i gotta wash it everyday

One of, if not the best, city map I've seen when it comes to bordering and presets and background (aesthetics).

New Scenario released: As mentioned earlier, the map is pretty big .. so I created this scenario to be used for quick games as the expansion can be time consuming and might be boring for some people ... so in this scenario .. you can start fighting immediately



4 teams, 3 players each (total 12 players). The 4 teams represent 4 boroughs of NYC, fighting against each other .. Income is relatively balanced for the 4 teams .. and the geography of 4 teams (who is fighting who) is quite balanced as well

Which units are for stealth movement of criminals?

My opponent's criminals keep popping up in places they could not have walked to. And ferry and air-transport are not stealth. Distance is too big for flying criminals in and return the airplane without me noticing.

Can there be other add-ons my opponent is using? Or is there a sp-bonus for adding a passanger to f117's?
