Why is nobody using moving walls as frontlines to fight from? I've not seen it used, also haven't found any information about it? Is it against etics like wf first turn? or has it a major backdraft that i'm not (yet) aware of? What i mean are massive walls all forming al frontlines and then attack out from behind the lines forming new frontlines. If a frontline falls you instand have a backup standing ready and the enemy can't attack your forces directly.

In Europe where cities are close players are moving units from cities to cities, leaving them out of cities is not an effective way to use them, specially huge stacks of units, but making walls is and can be very effective.

Every troop count. ! making wall take time and money.because . A wall can be easily broken, For example an anecdote would be the great wall of china, the mongol didn't have destroy the wall but go through a gap. in the wall, and the the chinese can't protect all part of the walls. not enough troop.it would be a waste. i only do make walls when i have the money and time usually in casual games that last like 12-24-32 hours. Lets says both oponent have same troop count ; 5 unit per player. would u make a 5 massive long wall or wall with 3 and take other city with the 2 unit u have to take neutruel cities.. or even better use the 5 unit to further expand. Y no wall during this battle? it easy to predict enemy with a lower troop count this they can't divide their troop. But in bigger game i suggest u make a 3 man wall.. b/c it's harder to predict your oponent.

That's your own choice. You should be able to think out if that's the best you can do with your army and if that helps you out in some way to achieve what you want. It doesn't have anything to be with etics. It's like everyone else says, the less units you use for walling, the more units you have for expanding or other issues.
