I was thinking that publicly display a user's profile, their won, lost and abandoned games, and their game statistics, can in some cases harm the user.

Because, for example, if someone does not want to accept low-level users for an alliance game, perhaps if that user has poor statistics, could be virtually rejected.

I suggest that the statistics of each player are hidden if the user so wishes. Otherwise, these statistics can be displayed publicly.

It is my humble opinion.

Greetings to all.

The Won/Loss ratio use to be right below a person's name. But bad players got salty and got admins to hide it among all the other statistics.

Maybe I did not express myself well. But what I meant is that it can harm a user who publicly their lost and abandoned games is displayed. In my opinion, that should not be displayed if the user does not want.

Regards.

Without the statics, i would have to increase rank requirements to 5+ and then kick people based on rank

I speak not to remove the statistics, but that is not publicly and obligatorily see lost or abandoned of each player games. The reasons mentioned earlier.

if you hide them or remove them, the outcome is the same: I can't see them and therefore it will force me to kick people depending of their rank.

You just gave me the reason why it is not good to make public the list of games a player. Because if a player has a high level, for example, level 12, but its level was achieved by many more defeats than victories, no one will play with him.

The purpose of this is not to discriminate against anyone. Low-level players will play as much as possible in the room for beginners and advanced players in the main room.

It is not about transparent, but rather of the privacy and avoid discrimination the user.

It is not about transparent, but rather of the privacy and avoid discrimination the user.

Even i it just an option to hide it, that still presents a few problems. First off, do we agree that if you win 90% of your games you have no reason to hide your stats? Do we agree that if you win 10% of your games and all of them are Roleplay, then you will hide your stats. Then it will become a case of if they are hiding their stats then the host can only assume they have something worth hiding. If Player A, rank 5, shows his stats and is an average player, and Player B is rank 7 but hides his stata, then i would choose player a over player b.

Without stats we could not know that OPI would be ranked position 60 (instead of 18) if he hasn't played massively RP.
We could also not know that Tunder farmed UN games.

Would delete a lot of AW history.

I never talked to delete statistics, but about if you want to hide the user.

In Facebook each user can display a profile or not, and no one will think it is a mysterious or antisocial user.
