Sometimes i send a lot of units to destroy an enemy, and when i do that, they become useless, because my other enemy is in the opposite part of thw world.
Ex: I am China and my ally is Germany.
I have 2 enemies, USA and Russia.
I send 200 units to destroy Russia, when i do that, most of them become useless, because it will take a long time to send them all way back to China to use them to defeat USA.

My idea: Deleting troops. Just that.
Troops cost money and useless troops can kill your income. Deleting them would be a good change for AtWar.

No, part of the strategy and fun is knowing how to micromanage your troops correctly. If you send them somewhere dumb, you should be liable for getting them back.

That's also how it works in reality. You can't just send your troops somewhere and then stop supporting them

I know how to suicide them, but sometimes, everything has been conquered and all neutrals troops(from the enemies that left the game) have been destroyed.

This topic has been discused many times.... and always the end of discussion was: c'est la vie! Get over it, manage better your troops and you won't be faced this issue.

If real life wars were this simple...

- War is over, we won!
- But we've got 10k soldiers on a far away land, sir.
- Don't worry general, simply kill them all, they are useless now.
- Sure thing marshal.

People here do realise it's possible to disband military units and they actually did so from time to time, right?

I understand the reasoning for not implementing, I think it should still be an option, just low priority, I mean it's not like you can't add a 150 defence 100 HP trashbin unit that isn't buildable then put them around the map for people to use.
