Suddenly I saw Matthew's Ancient West duel. I joined and noticed 0 turn hold capital settings with rares turned on.



He left the duel 1 minute after that. Basically, he is waiting to a non premium join and rape him with rares, or trick him with instant cap.

I really don't see a problem here. He is playing a setting that isn't exactly common among the competitive scene. Unlike the previous "Capture X's capital and hold for Y turns" duels these duels are actually fair as even he is at risk of an instant cap.

Again I can't seem to stress the importance of checking the victory setting before you join a game. The victory condition has been made clearly visible in 3 different place, once you join a game, under strategy selection and in the settings menu.

Since I see no problem with the issue here. I'm going to go ahead and lock this topic.
