I just had this random idea. What if when a new player joins atwar, a group of involved players get informed by notification. It would be awesome to be able to know that there is a new player whom we can begin working with. i think that this would work really well since higher ranks who wish to train others, and lower ranks who wish to learn are divided unless they meet up somehow, this would make the gap easier to breach and maybe bring the community together

It's a nice idea but with hundreds of accounts being made every day? perhaps if it was only once a player hit i don't know maybe r4 or 5? that way it's less chance of it just being a player who only plans to play for 5min then never play the game again

  • Actually not a bad idea; at least worth discussing.
  • Could prevent some frustrations and feeling alone.
  • Agree, from a certain rank onwards, or at least from certain amount of turns/games played.
  • Overcoming the arrival at a new community and finding one owns place in it is part of a natural selection process that players have to undergo. From not knowing anybody, making first "fiends", enemy-listing some fuggin' backstabbers, from buying upgrades without knowing what they mean, getting premium (or not)... it is healthy to go through this "via crucis"... but could be accompanied!
  • Aren't coalitions supposed to deal this issue? Are they doing it? Are only competitive coalitions active? And, if yes, are newbies allowed into these competitive coalitions?
  • Would be something like mentoring tutoring.

biggest issue is that we cant really go out and find the right low ranks who want to join clans, and very few clans take 4s and 5s, and there isnt much effort from the game itself to ask players like in tutorial to join a clan and stuff like that

Ey maybe you should be able to see your total playtime? So that we can see who's spending real time on this and then we can see who to help

I have similar Idea.It could be nice if I can recieve message when a new player from my country make account so I can give him some tips.80% of them didnt reach rank 5 probably because they didn't know how to play, got killed easly every game or did play rps and just didnt find fun

Make an instructional message with begginer tricks and tips.

Check from time to time which new players made bosnia their homecountry - 2 this month

Playerlist - type "bosnia as search term - click registered - find latest

Send them your "welcome to AW" instructional message.

Create an army of devoted, loyal, soldiers this way that will rise at your command.

I support the idea. I also support Amko idea. Maybe the game can use the IP for know where someone is, and send him a welcome message on his own language, explaining the basic stuff.

A very nice FAQ on someone's language would help as well.

I support anything that involves helping new ones getting into the community. I've realized this by my own experience, new players love to meet new people so they don't feel alone and that eventually motivates them to keep playing. Also most of them appreciate any little help or tip you may give them. Feeling part of a nice and comfortable clan (not obsessed with competitions) also helps them.
