I made a map and scenario for the Winter War, fought between the Soviet Union and Finland. For the background, I used the default map then zoomed in on the area of the fighting, so it is a tad blurry. Baltics: Karelia, where most of the fighting takes place: Northern Finland: Large part of Russia: And here is the Scenario split:

I was expected better borders as the size of the map should be relative to the number of border details. In this case your coastal borders should be more detailed and specific. but for your first map, you did really well. Remember: Not even Tik-Tok or Tunder3 started making good borders. (specially tik, take a look at his halo map lol).

Yeah, borders are not my strong suit. Thanks though.

13.02.2014 - 11:42 I'm pretty sure those were historical fortification lines. Tik-Tok did a similar thing in his WWII map. @ MarkedRyan: How do the trains work in your map?

The trains are built in those cities next to the others (again, and idea borrowed from Tik-Tok) and can carry 15 units iirc.

13.02.2014 - 18:28 Oh, I meant that the "wall of cities" is a historical fortification line and not just some random wall of cities.

14.02.2014 - 01:14 I just wanted to point out the reason why he put those cities there. I thought that you might have been unaware that there were fortifications set up there during that war and that that was what the map maker probably intended to represent when he placed cities there (fortifications, not actual cities). I mentionned Tik-Tok's map cause he also used cities to represent fortifications. It was a comment about the map, sorry if it sounded like something else.
