Lets say for some miraculous reason the street team pays off and double's AW's community over the course of a few months. By that time, everything will have doubled. The number of paying members, the number of clans, the number of good players, the number of people, but also the number of server disconnects, the number of games, the number of noobs will also double. So while you may think you want a larger community, think; The community would not be as family as it is now.

Just had to get that off my chest.

Well, maybe it will. I've been working on an article to post on many bigger sites, so let's sit back and watch

the game will be less fun probably as everyone will find cheap strats very fast and Ivan and Amok would become distant to the community just as all admins do since they are so busy (imagine them even more distant than now, so lonely ;_;). I heard something about integration into kongregate, so this is a possibility.

Actually, I think it will be a RuneScape sort of scenario which I've experienced first hand. Note that players began "committing" to RuneScape in far greater numbers from 2007 onwards, I joined in late 2005 myself.

Basically, there will be an influx of noobs into the game and only a privileged elite who watched the game from its very inception and know how it works will dominate everything. Furthermore, they already have all the upgrades and know which upgrades they require. Until a decent help-site or any third-party fansite at all (!) crops up, the situation will remain very much the same.

RuneScape now offers help for quests and things like that within the game so it's much easier to access this sort of information. The documentation on the site has also been expanded a very great deal. With a big community the quality of documentation is more important than word-of mouth knowledge.

true, but Im thinking about the actual gameplay as in how crowded the game will be. Room chat will have thousands of people in it. Hundreds of games will be going on at a time. The forum will be so active people will start picking favorites.
