Nations is right with that last one, some of these premium members seem to think money falls from the sky like rain. although harassing ivan or amok as a free member for a better game is a bit of a stupid move to make. your more likely to get banned than change the game, considering you dont/can't actually contribute to it at all.

I believe new servers that are able to handle the required traffic are $40,000+, AtWar as far as I acknowledge, is a community interest project as opposed to it being an entirely profit driven business, as much as Ivan and Amok are respected and endeared by most of the AW community, I can only assume admins are not swimming in the kind of liquidity or resource needed to support the scale of developments required in the short term. Advertising requires resource to be affective, be it time or economic, which is apparently unavailable, therefore with this being a community project, there are various social media outlets available that all players are welcome to assist in creating content and sharing with their current networks, with more being developed to assist in the marketing drive. Including:
-- Specific AtWar You Tube Channel
-- Official and Unofficial facebook pages
-- Twitter
-- GPlus
The more active these mediums are, the more attracted new players will be to AtWar, generating new players and ultimately paid subscription's. If 1000 player's actively promote and as a result averages 2 new members per player, this will have a substantial effect in terms of new member generation on the AtWar platform. It is 'chicken or egg' though, what comes first? The servers or new players.

I think all that is required is patience, and if the servers do crash, my opinion is let them cool off and return later. Don't bitch or spam admin, it won't help.... the game represents great value overall.

As others have said, you can help by buying premium or encouraging others to do the same. Maybe it'll get big enough that it can become a full time job for I + A. Until then some of you please consider complaining less, and to the rest who don't do that, thank you.

It's the island neighbour to mine, also known as the home for parties and stuff like that (for europeans, ofc). It's one of the Balearic islands (Spain), the ones in the mediterranean.
