Of course it isn't to the majority of people, as considering a place for "best" ideology is ludicrous. Ideologies cannot be weighed so simply, nor can they, and opinions attached, ever lead to a definite universally beneficial outcome. That being said: Zionism is fucktarded.

I can't discuss a subject I highly disagree. Present your argument to defend your case.

Zionism - organization to help jews inhabit and create new state after 3000 years of roverlife. Ending of WW2 was decisive moment, 7kk jews died.

There is no hiden conspiracy theory or whatsoever behind zionism. Many people are just jealous of jews because they are rich and hardworking people. While Europe fought endless wars and invasions in medieval era, renaissance and industrial age jews worked as traders, jewelers and bankers earning and making something that last - gold, which their kids could use to make decent living in the future. Which they did and opened companies and banks, reason why some people got jealous of their nation and country suffering in famine and poverty(their monarch fault for waging wars all the time) while those ''kikes'' live well in peace and prosperity even they're without home(state).

You're also forgetting the whole "Chosen" and "Superior Mentality" hardcore Zionists tend to share, at least in my experiences. That alone turns me off to their entire ideals-structure, not to mention that their modern state is not 100% representative of their true race's ideals and religious aspirations, as well as claiming an extremely diverse sectioning of the Holy Lands as rightfully theirs, when in essence (As I have been told by Kentucky), their beliefs dictate that they wish to better their people and the rest mankind in any way they possibly can, which is not a resultant of constant border-control, campaigns, and imperialism in the Fertile Crescent. Don't get me wrong, i don't blame their people for counterattacks against Islamic extremists firing upon their state, but I do believe that if they wish to be one with the diverse countries and peoples of the world, they need to step down off of their pedestal of high-class and Lannistership, and join the ranks of mankind in having a very diverse race. I'm not being racist here: Look at any major production or structured system, and surely you will see many Jews having leading roles in them. Are they essential, due to their hard-work ethic and genetic outlook? Possibly. But then, if they truly wish to have their own equal country, they must teach that not everyone should be so successful and life, and stress the teachings of helping others when it is rightfully time to do so, and helping people understand that minimal living can be as completing as that of high-class and success. Equality among the various Stars, Particles, and Energy of Existence is paramount to its inner-workings and longevity. The problem with Zionism, is they wish to bake the cake, and eat the entire thing as well. The cake is for everyone, and everyone can help make it, but they wish to do both, it seems. You can have your country- All power to you. But don't forget what it means to be a country, and what needs to happen to strive and succeed as one. To truly be one with Nature; To be Happy; To be a mortal God, is to be equal with the planes and realms of imagination, aspiration, and creation around you, down to the smallest Planck, and up to the highest Heavens.

To be honest we don't see ourselves as better than others, actually the common belief is our mentality is shitty compared to the north eurpean, can you at least base what you are saying?

Zionism (see definition below) as a political and cultural movement does not require one to be a jewish person to support it for many reasons.
I'll discuss at least two reasons why Zionism is very important in the United States (and to a lesser degree, Britain, Canada, Mexico).

Reason 1
40% of Americans think that they are living through the 'End Times', this being based on their interpretation of one particular chapter of the 'New Testament'.
While of various subsects of christianity, their interpretation contains a few common elements:
1. The world will end 'soon'.
2. The savior will return to judge people.
3. There will be some kind of world war and Israel is a necessary component for the war.

In essence, for their religious beliefs to manifest in their lifetimes, Israel must exist, be protected, and be strong. Important to note for all of those who look for American support for Israel's continued survival: These same apocalyptic Americans ALSO foresee Israel as attacking/being attacked with nuclear weapons.
Conservatively, 100 MILLION Americans believe the 3 common elements I note.

Reason 2
Jews suffered tremendously due to American and British inaction in WW2, and are entitled to their own homeland.
No one blames the Palestinians for the suffering Jews went through during WW2, and Palestinian suffering is something no one wants, but is an unintended-but-not-unforeseen consequence of righting a wrong and is the least of the evils.

A Jewish homeland is the best protection against future genocidal attempts.

This concept of justice (lesser of two evils) is independent of Reason 1 (the maximization of religious virtue).

In regards to the question 'Zionism is the best ideology' most people who agree with Reason 2 and NOT Reason 1 would disagree - they could support an independent, self-governed Jewish homeland without saying that 'Zionism is the best ideology'.

Those who support Reason 1 *might also* support Reason 2, but in any case, see Zionism as the *best* political ideology - it is the only political ideology compatible with their religious beliefs.

Zionism, in this definition, is the support for the nationalist movement for a Jewish homeland in the Territory defined as the Land of Israel. Nearly all definitions of Zionism agree that this nationalist movement is of Jews and Jewish culture (as Tito notes). Can one support Zionism and not be a Zionist? Can one think Zionism as important to all other ideologies of nationalism and not be jewish? I suppose the question is if self-identifying Christians can be considered to be partakers of Jewish culture, or if (perhaps) the definition is wrong, outdated, or too narrow.

In any case, I think that all of the 40% of the above people noted would agree that Zionism (as a political ideology) is 'the best' as it trumps all other political ideologies - these 100 million or more people ascribe their identity as Christian more than as American.

I must add that there were jewish people and communities in Israel/Palestine/British Palestine before 1948. From 1948 back to the past through 1800s, 1500 and so on. There werent 0% jews and 100% palestinians/arabs, not all jews were exiled/left Israel through history. Therefore it wasnt like jews arrived with ships in 1948 and took Palestine by invasion and created State of Israel. There were jews already in British Palestine before 1948. Not sure, but i doubt they werent even a minority.

They had kingdoms in Israel way before arabs arrived in fertile crescent. By that historical fact they have right to create new state today, beside new arab/palestinian population in Gaza and West Bank.

Concerning new events of jewish moving and settlement in arab part of the country; its only one country, even it is ethnically divided all groups have rights and freedom of movement. Or are you saying arabs doesnt have right to move from Gaza and buy house in Tel Aviv?

Thats like modern Bosnia, one country, but two administrative divisions based on ethnic tribes. Bosniaks in Federation BiH and Serbs in Republika Srpska, but they can still move and settle whenever they like. But if someone burn their house, crash their car or kill family member(or whole family that moved) thats police job to investigate and judiciary to punish. No need to start a civil war.

It is very hard for Gazans to leave Gaza. It is under siege ever since Hamas terrorists gained power. Remember that Gaza is no longer under Israeli jurisdiction, it is independent.

@Yazan the only reference to sexual abuse I saw was by other Palestinian prisoners in the first article. I saw no reference in the Wikipedia article

A Palestinian who is the grandson of someone who was exiled is not an exile, he is just inheriting a refugee status due to corrupt Arab governments and the United Nations. Also, a lot of Palestinians left because the Arab armies told them to. At this point, it is impossible to know who left for what, taking into account that people could be lying for political gain, so nothing can really be done. There are approximately 38k Palestinians left alive from the exile. The Arabs are to blame for not absorbing the Palestinian refugees. They created the problem. If they never invaded Israel in 1948, this problem wouldn't exist.

I dont have personal experience on the matter, but having seen two documentaries on the internet, some articles here and there and some Palestinians we have here, i got the impression things are how yazan say they are.Although i cant be sure what is really going on, what i can be sure, is Usa media cannot be trusted.Also that thing with the settlers, i saw it on the documentary and it was really disturbing.Some of these settlers (they interviewed them) reminded me of Southern states rednecks, they seemed racists and certainly not peacefull.

I dont have personal experience on the matter, but having seen two documentaries on the internet, some articles here and there and some Palestinians we have here, i got the impression things are how yazan say they are.Although i cant be sure what is really going on, what i can be sure, is Usa media cannot be trusted.Also that thing with the settlers, i saw it on the documentary and it was really disturbing.Some of these settlers (they interviewed them) reminded me of Southern states rednecks, they seemed racists and certainly not peacefull.

Most Israeli settlers are horrible people, and I am strongly against the settlements in any form.

Someone could say, that for people who "suffered" so much and point it out all the time, could be a little more sensitive to the people who are suffering now.

Living somewhere doesn't mean you know everything about it. My knowledge about Canadian politics is limited compared to American or middle eastern politics even though I have lived in Canada for the vast majority of my life.
