I see a bit of bias in your utterly retarded statement. I'll have you know that the PS3 and the XBOX360 are actually pretty close to each other in terms of computing power.

PCs are many, many times superior to both which often goes unrecognised (!) but because they have to run a whole operating systems while running the games, they perform rather shortly of their true potential.

Still... these are 5-year old gaming consoles we are talking about which use hardware even older that that. Let it go already, they both suck by today's standards and for gaming in general to take a step forward, Sony and Microsoft need to cough up some money and move to the next generation already.

See, the problem with pc gaming, is that to get the same graphics as lets say an xbox, I need to pay 1000$ for a better graphics chip, then I have to 10 things, then buy a new sound chip, then 3 years later another 1000$ on a new graphics chip, and in 3 more years the pc dies. Waste of money in my oppinion when I could buy an xbox that comes with the shit already and it doesnt have to every little thing to run either. All in all, pcs are a dead gaming platform. Theres one platform that wasn't mentioned though that actually is the future of gaming- OnLive.

Oh come on. $1000? Zimbabwean dollars, perhaps. High-end graphics cards cost no more than $300 tops. And we're talking about optimised graphics cards here. Plus, a high-end card you would buy today would keep you playing the games of the next 5 years probably on the high setting.

And seriously, you are trolling so hard. Why would you consider replacing a sound chip? Not that it would cost anywhere near $1000 either.
