Well, it says right on the graph where the data is from. "IQ for countries from Lynn, Harvey, and Nyborg (2009)..." So I just google around for papers written in 2009 by Lynn, Harvey, and Nyborg, and voila! Everything you need to know about the data from methodology to raw and processed results.

Now, I do agree there is a relation between atheism and intelligence. It is not based in the amount of money or knowledge available, but in atheism's nature:

Atheism people "goes" against the rules, they wont believe in god because someones tell them "God exist". They actually go, research and provide facts for prove that god does not exist, while the Christians are mostly based on "believe, and it will be given".

Because of kind of act (Not believing stuff because someones say it) is that atheism are more intelligent than the average people. When you ask about "why" something happens or "why" something is true AND research about it, your intelligence grows.

Now, when you compare it with countries you will find that indeed, at better economy, more atheism. This is because you have access to better knowledges than poor countries, as well as you tend to avoid "ad verecundiam" types of fallacies. But this is indeed, off-topic.

that is a 10 year old argument.You cant differentiate church from religion, whenever it suits your interest.Like it or not, the church and its clerics are gods representative in earth.Clerics study gods work and are responsible for passing his teachings unto the rest of the population.Moreso clerics supposedly have a deep connection with god and have his ear and act on his behalf.
That being said, if clerics are gods representantive on earth, how can they commit such attrocities and so many wars and evilness in as long as 2000 years ?If even gods representatives are corrupted and evil, then something is wrong.Is god giving them bad advice?Is god bad?Or all clerics and believers misunderstood him for 2000 years.Or they just ignored him and waged wars?And if they ignored their god, whats the point in the religion anyway?

There are exceptions to everything of course, that's the average IQ not the IQ for "EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN SPAIN"

I have never tried to find out my IQ honestly, and I dont feel too much curiosity about it. But since I live here and get to see how people behaves... I'd rather give them a -100 as average So I find difficult to imagine how stupid countries with lower IQ must be... which they probably aren't... it's wierd.
