FIXED(?): SILVERLIGHT Crash.

Please reply if you get the Silverlight Crash and please write the details to.
When the game crash a big grey screen comes saying silverlight error. It can do it just when im in the lobby, or in a game everywhere, and my browser is Firefox.

We would also like more details. Where in the game you were, what exactly you were doing, your browser and OS.

I was just talking in the lobby (cln chat) and suddenly I got silverlight plug-in crash... it was the 4th time today. I used chrome btw

I also have the same problem, I am using Google Chrome and since I only played 1 game so far, mine crashed when I was in the lobby. But I'm sure that it can also crash when I'm playing a game (as I said, I only played 1 game so far and it didn't crash then). I've had Silverlight crash 4,5 times so far in just hours.

PS (If neccersary)
I was just chatting in clan chat. Also it seems to crash at the same time for people ( I dont know if everyones Silverlight crashes at the same time) but for (Forever Alone), Dbacks, some people in the lobby and I have had Silverlight crash at the same time.

If there is anything you can do about this, please fix it asap!

Lobby, using Chrome. I think it happens when i switch tabs sometimes.

It happened twice more to me, both times when i switched to lobby from a game, i got to the lobby but after that it crashed

Guys, if you don't mind, if you're on Chrome, could you please enable crash reports? Just go to chrome://crashes , there's a link on how to do that. After the crash, go to chrome://crashes again and you should hopefully have a report there.

It happened 2 more times today. This is what I got.

Sorry everyone, we still haven't figured out what causes it. There don't seem to be any consistent circumstances - we only know it's somewhere in the lobby. Please be patient and keep reporting.

Didn't catch any images of it, but I will next time this happens. I've had over 5 crashes (some costed me games), most of which were preceded by serious lagging which no one else experienced. After the crash and reload, it worked perfectly again. One crash in the lobby happened at the same time as Spart did while we were chatting, to confirm what VRIL is saying. None of my crashes happened while switching; most of them happened while I was chatting in game and once in lobby. I think it may have something to do with chatting or typing, as that is what showed me that something was wrong every time.

I'm using Chrome by the way. Not sure about Spart.

I'm not using a browser, I installed AW but the game stil crashes if I stay at lobby.

What is your Silverlight version? Please check here: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/

Installed version: 4.1.10111.0

Btw, I think you need to remove the atwar part from that link.

Looks like my theory is correct - most crash cases in the lobby are related to Chrome & SL4.1.

Just update to Silverlight 5 (5.1.10411.0)

Mine was already Silverlight 5 when my crashes appeared, I cannot update it further so it must be something else :/

You mentioned that is was crashing before atWar and not just from the lobby? In that case, that's not the same thing.

I readed wrong when i answered you at that time i wrote that to you...

We think that we've found the issue that was crashing the lobby, fix will be in the next update.

I don't know if this report even makes a difference but i had it today again, so maybe you can still use it if it doesn't work after the update.

Hi i just started the other day and had this problem
i have today cleared my cache reloaded firefox and restarted my computer like it says above but i still get the silverlight crash

still crashing today too i use firefox and have windows 7 a reply would be nice

I have had problems with silverlight crashing as well. Usually it is during playing atwar, but today the silverlight crashed while trying to log in.
I have had the crashes ever since I started to play atwar during games, but now they occur even before playing.
I use chrome and I have updated my silverlight to the newest version.

This is still not working for me. I am also using Chrome.
