Ethical choices means the world to me, I don't really care what you think, as long as the admins are on vacation whilst advertising broken features I got an issue. Ofc I'm not actually here to sue anyone, things would have to get drastically worse for anything of the such to be needed. I simply wanted to get there attention, hell for how much the lawyer would cost me I'd just offer the buy them out and hire them to finish the game on contract. Maybe even hire a new programmer for a few months. The thing is though I rather let the game grow organically as this is there brain child not mine, I just wish they would find the passion to finish it.

Helly I will give you your $40 or whatever it is you paid for this game if your principle is that damn strong. Suing will do nothing but take money away from the game. No money = even less development. We all get that you are pissed that its taking too long to release, asking when is OK perhaps you can be given an answer, but threatening legal crap just makes you look like an ass.

I thought I posted this in one of these topics, but I cannot find it Anyway, I don't understand why Amok and Ivan refuse to address these concerns of the player base. It honestly is the easiest thing to do and can really help in the situation they created. If they come out and say that the programming is more advance then they anticipated or beyond their capabilities, the frustration of silence would decrease. If they then went on to explain how they intend to solve this problem, they would be able to defuse the situation for the most part. If they lastly gave an honest expected deadline with a margin of error of plus or minus one month, they would appease most people. It seems quite simple to me on how this whole fiasco can be fixed. I also find it rude for them to force Sun Tzu to handle all of these backlash posts by refusing to speak to the player base. It makes him out to be the "bad guy" even though he has been staying civil and has been nice, helpful, and as accommodating as possible. How is it that I can come up with a simple scenario in a couple minutes that would make a lot of people a bit happier and yet after months of silence they continue to ignore us. They really know how to make people feel like they're wanted

Following on from what Dereny has posted above, I think its fair to say Sun Tzu is the real MVP, providing a persistent admin presence and actually responding to what people have to say. I've given him some stick before and I'm sure others have too, but I'd like to say right now that I appreciate him and his presence. Gj sue

maybe they just dont know where to go with the game at this point, because its stagnating

Well it's certainly not helping the stagnation when features are unavailable to players that prevents the creation of new maps to break up the monotony of games

I haven't played for the past few months out of just boredom and disappointment that the map editor still isn't out yet, and what makes it even worse is the silence from the admins. I'm glad that Hellykin lit up a fire and disregarded the abusive moderators that lock a decent half of every thread on this forum - this is a problem that needs to be addressed.

I have a lotto, results coming out tonight. if i win ill make a tourney where everyone who plays in it gets full premium, no player cap, no bullshit. Should be enough revenue to hire a programmer to finish map stuff. Pray for me and aw.

For $100,000 you could just buy the game and hire your own programmer, then you know something will get done

I thought AW would value more than 100k tbh, and tbh, a large chunk of the value probably derives from premium memberships lol

Btw, If admins were to release the editor in 2017, you and the other mapmakers would still happily return to keep playing and making maps. Just remember how we all complained and condemn about the HTML version of the game, to end up playing it just few days later. I'm sure both Ivan and Amok have the experience and understands how the community works.

the difference is the html version came early, while the map maker is seven, almost eight, months late

Actually it was late as well, just not as late as the map editor... Anyway my point isn't related to the release but the graphic, the impossibility to so some zoombugs, etc... many people were angry for that yet they're still playing the game. As Amok said they adapted to the new gameplay.

The fact is Clovis, you're here defending Amok while he's nowhere to be seen, in his own game.

this is no longer about the html5 editor, what people really want is for the map editor to get updates such as TAGS and other new stuff which wasn't added to the silverlight version under the excuse that it was time consuming to code something new in silverlight and then code it again in the upcoming html5 editor.
