Is it calculated before or after units are lost, and before/after cities are gained/lost.

I do believe that it is calculated at the end of the turn. So that would be after any countries and/or cities are gained or lost and after any troop lose as well. So this means if you lost alot of troops and gained significant territory, your income will be up. Where as if you lost little to no troops and failed to gain fresh territory or lost significant territories, your income will be down. This is at least what I have gleaned from my own experience with the game mechanics. Hope this is helpful to you and as well I hope I was accurate with my information.

Yes, you believe right! If you loose all your land in a turn, you'll notice a large decrease in your money on the next turn

I thought it was start of turn, as that when it updates and everything is in place/battles finished.

So, is it at the end of the turn, or at the start of the following turn?

Hm... aren't both the same? Isn't the end of turn is the start of the following one? XDDD I'm confused! Let's see... the income you recieve is calculated once all moves are done/executed (end of turn?). Is this specific enough?
