Eurasia 5k 2 min Tourney Started

Rules:

• this is to be a europe vs asia battle, so players are to make their picks within the confines of these 2 continents.
• Players starting in Asia receive a 1 turn headstart to expand, so for turn 1, the EU player must not expand. This is to balance the positional advantage possessed by the EU players
• rewalling allowed
• 5k funds
• players must be rank 7+
• the time CANNOT be changed, the turn duration is to be set at 2 minutes and is to remain at 2 mins for the duration of the game.
• the middle east is ruled out for picks for both sides

Turn duration: 2 mins
Starting funds: 5k*
Maximum players: 2*
Joining until week: 0*
Victory: Capture player capital and hold for at least 2 turns*
Game duration: 50 turns
Rares: None
Initial countries: 1*
Extra cities: ✔
Allow rejoining: Off
Disable uprades: Off
Disable strategies: Off

Rewards:
I'll sort out a trophy and therell be a protocoin reward
1st 500 protocoins
2nd 300 protocoins
3rd 200 protocoins



Note: there'll be a week deadline for each round to play your games, the deadline for round 1 is the 26/04/2014. but please play your games asap. if you cant play for whatever reason within the time limit please mail me and let me know.

I propose that the players who pick Asia should get 1-2 extra turns at the beginning to expand.
Europe has just way too many advantages over Asia.

i am going to implement this in the rules, the asian player receives a 1 turn expansion headstart to balance the positional expansion advantage possessed by a europe player. i believe all the games won so far have been by the asian player, but due to superior play. so i dont think theres any need for rematches.
