Or players can have the ability to make their stealth cities for an amount of money which they could place inside a country's border. The cities could move/not move as the map-maker wishes.
you are implying people will be stupid and somehow not notice when cities like london, berlin and moscow go missing.
You misunderstood, I meant make cities that are in stealth mode.
I understood.

Didn't you read the word ''literally''? Like in a real world city. That means you don't have to think of it as an actual city like Amsterdam, but yes a ''city'' in the map editor which is a place where you can make reinforcements and get income.
Skrevet av Tundy, 23.11.2014 at 13:23
For the map editor anything that produces units is considered a city, there is no such things as different types of settlement.
Stop acting stupid, after playing a map once, the player will know what cities are missing, specially capitals.
Maybe if you would have read my post a bit more carefully you would have understood that I didn't use the atWar mapeditor definition of a city, but the real world definition of a city.

That's why it is OPTIONAL for mapmakers to add these cities so they can add them if they see it fit.

Back to topic. All I am going to say is that this will never happen. Ivan and Amok have lives too, they don't just program for AtWar all day long! So maybe it is a good idea, but unless it's mobile it will never work! Also, there isn't a lot of difference between Stealth cities and regular cities, they just need to be detected. Usually, they will be detected anyway due to the clustering of Cities in a lot of the world map, these stealth cities would need to be in desolated areas - such as the Sahara etc. I understand that you would like to use this for guerrilla cities etc, but regular cities wouldn't make too much of a difference, too bad Amok and Ivan are busy.

This is not a single proposal, you are requesting:
1.- Being allowed to "recruit" cities
2.- Being allowed to "place" the recruited cities
3.- Being allowed to make them "stealth"
Why would the admins struggle with this? you are not even a map maker why do u care

You could break any suggestion into many small pieces, and why does it even matter if there are more ideas melded into one?
I care as a player since I would like to see these mechanics implanted in game so I can play them. Also I care for the aspects of atWar I don't use since I care for the game.
I don't know how hard it is to implement mobile stealth cities
But we already have cities
We already can recruit units
We already can add new cities (in map-maker)
We already have stealth
We already have stealth detection
And we can even move cities in the bugged html5 map
To me it seems like you just need to combine these, but I obviously have no idea how hard it is.

No, in other words you didn't read my response.
I said maybe they don't exist today, but it could be sci-fi scenario or a pre google-maps scenario. As for the "people will memorize the place of stealth cities" I already said that the stealth cities could be mobile for replayability.
admit it, you have lost the argument and are just looking for cheap shots.
Also I suggest you learn how to read.
