When making historical scenarios you commonly reach the problem that certain countries may exist then that don't exist today or borders aren't the same today as the use to be. I propose an option that will allow you to divide countries and put them into possession of a player when scenario making, or have them treated as countries of their own. For an example of the latter being like say you were making a Seven Years' War scenario and you have to divide Germany to show all the seperate states, and Italy to show Austrian possessions. This option will also allow players to formulate the borders as well. Hopefully this will allow scenario craftsmen to reach that finer line of accuracy in their work. What do you think?

I believe Amok has said elsewhere this is virtually impossible with the current engine (altering the countries borders on the map). Meaning he would have to reprogram the whole thing at great time/expense for this to work.

People would go overboard and make America 50 states which would be horrible. Can u imagine fighting a unified US with at least 60 cities and most getting 8 reinforcements
