OPEN: Allow alliances - tick box

When i join someones game that is still in lobby stage, i find that i sometimes can tick and untick the allow alliance box, other times its greyed out.
Sometimes it stays unticked when I tick it other times it gets ticked again either by itself or the host is ticking it, I'm not sure.

Yes I've had this happen to me as well...seems to reset itself if you tick/untick it

Never seen this one, hope it gets patched soon I guess, sounds like it could be pretty annoying.
